| Description: | HERMES LANDSCAPING is conducting a nation-wide search to locate the most experienced and capable production manager in the green industry! We are a high volume operation, intent on continued growth. To be considered you must be able to manage our existing volume (3 supervisors, 20 crews, 100 commercial properties) and tackle the challenges of future growth. The ability to communicate in Spanish and English is extremely helpful but not required. CLT/CLP a plus. To qualify you should be an experienced turf manager or landscaper with management and business acumen. You will oversee & coordinate all production activities for this multi-million dollar division including, utility, mowing, horticultural services, chemical applications and snow removal. With the assistance of three supervisors this position is directly responsible for crew productivity, job costs and overall quality of work performed by the crews. Position requires significant industry knowledge and management experience. * Manage productivity of crews through efficient routing, equipment/supply usage, and by directly observing work of crews in the field to identify ways to improve. * Schedule and supervise production, delivery, and installation activities. * Analyze job costs and keep in line with contract pricing. * Coordinate crew assignments to complete projects. * Analyze future needs, forecasting staff and material needs to complete future jobs. * Staff development to include cross-training of staff and performance evaluations. * Identify and develop Crew Leaders. * Continuous development of industry and management knowledge. REQUIREMENTS Position requires a Bachelor Degree in Horticulture or Turf Management and/or 5-10 years directly relevant experience, at least 3 years supervisory/management experience.
